The story
From fresh water to salt — and the problem in between
David spent years of weekends water skiing on Lake Eildon, where fresh water was kind to his boats: hulls stayed clean, underwater gear stayed healthy.
Then came more than a decade living on the Victorian waterfront — still surrounded by boats, but now in a harsh salt-water environment. Moored hulls corroded through electrolysis. Slime became weed became barnacles. The standard fix, anti-foul, meant toxic coatings re-applied every year, a slower hull and a bigger fuel bill.
The answer wasn't a better coating. It was getting the hull out of the water entirely — without giving up the berth. That's the problem Aqua Boat Lifts was engineered to solve, and it's the problem we still solve for owners around Australia today.
